ABOUT BEN
Born and raised in Georgia, Ben currently resides in the Atlanta area with his family. In addition to his 9-5 role, Ben provides training and educational materials for higher education professionals seeking to serve their students better.
Ben has presented to audiences across higher education in the USA and internationally on a range of topics. These include conspiracy thinking among college students, using games to aid in conflict resolution, data/information security, and teaching college/university courses. Ben also co-taught graduate courses in group interventions and legal issues in higher education while earning his PhD in College Student Affairs Administration at the University of Georgia.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, writing, and rockhounding in the creeks and rivers of Northeast Georgia. His most prized rockhounding specimen is a piece of Hiddenite (the fourth rarest gemstone in the world) he found in 2022 in Hiddenite, NC.
